Meet Yeshi, age 31, physician from Addis Abeba
I admit I’ve been very lucky. Not many of my countrymen have had the opportunity to study in Europe. I managed to graduate from medicine and, what was specifically surprising for me, very soon I discovered I was really good at it.
My friends were truly astonished when I said I decided to come back to Ethiopia. They couldn’t grasp why I didn’t want to have a big house, fancy car and live my happy European life. I know it sounds silly but I couldn’t abandon my people so easily. I returned to help those who didn’t make it like me.
I work every single day for over twelve hours in a local hospital. After hours I teach my colleagues. I barely have any time to have fun. Sometimes I go out dancing but usually I don’t feel good about it. I always ask myself if I couldn’t commit this time to help somebody.
You see what type of life I live, so you probably already know I drink a lot of coffee. My favourite is Dubai Coffee. It perfectly describes my character and it’s simply delicious. I guess I couldn’t work so hard without its help.
The other one I love is Rio de Janeiro Coffee. When I was a student, I went to Rio on carnival once. It was wonderful. Unfortunately I don’t have any time for such long trips anymore, but with Rio Coffee I can experience the Brazilian carnival at home or at work. Sometimes I even dance between taking sips.
When it comes to tea, I prefer Solidaritea. I love its strong, severe taste. I usually drink it when I have a moment to think about the next step. It provides me with courage to make the best choice.
Every day I drink Revoltea - cherry and peach yerba mate. Since I don’t necessary like traditional yerba it is a perfect match for me. With its taste of fruits I can enjoy the positive health impact of mate without having to sacrifice the taste.
